Facebook launched the simplified version of Messenger in 150 countries of the world. Currently, Messenger Lite is available in Germany, Japan, Italy, Morocco, the Netherlands, Peru and Ukraine.
TechCrunch notes that the messenger became available in 132 countries out of 150 announced countries. However, it will probably appear in Google Play soon and for the rest.
Messenger Lite is available for smartphones, having the small amount of memory, the low-volume processor as well as the low connection speed.
The application helps to send photos, links and stickers. However, on some criteria, it is somehow less functional than the original version.
